Badar has established the studiolitup in 2021. Before establishing studiolitup (SLU), Badar engaged in lighting design for diverse projects, including sports arenas, airports, multi-purpose facilities, hospitality venues, retail spaces, residential properties, and government buildings worldwide.
With over a decade of experience, Badar has dedicated himself to developing clean designs that minimize the environmental impact of lighting equipment. He firmly believes that the impact of lighting should always take precedence over its mere aesthetic appearance. Adhering to this philosophy, Badar has completed significant projects in both exterior and interior contexts, such as the King Fahd International Stadium, Bahrain International Airport, and King Abdulaziz International Airport, along with numerous hospitality and residential initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and later obtained a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design from the New York School of Interior Design. Badar is passionate about assisting individuals in transforming spaces through the effective use of light.
